hmmmm.....so there is a huge deli tray here at work today.
i think they told people to bring in as many different carbs as they could just to mess with me. lol. glad it isn't that hard to resist today.

anyway - lots of roast beef. could i grab some and use 4 oz as a protein source in one of my meals? i rarely if ever eat beef and i know some are ok and some aren't.

is roast beef ok? it's the real deal not nasty cold cuts. just not sure if it's an ok protein choice. thanks!

Real, lean beef (not deli slices) are an excellent source of protein! Eat up :)

your legs....ohmygod! amazing!

how are you feeling?

Beef up!

Beef is terrific as long as you stay with the lean cuts. Generally, I believe deli type sliced roast beef is OK, not the greatest, but acceptable. The worst cuts are those with the heavy marblibg...guess what the marbling is? FAT!

Unfortunately, this also makes the beef tender and juicy.

So...eat beef that isn't tender and juicy and you're probably OK.

any idea what cut of meat carne asada is?

in grocery stores it just says carne asada and that isn't really a cut.
