True, but look at what the people you want to lower taxes for are doing with their money. The gov't took tax money and built roads and schools and infrastructure, do you expect these corporations to do the same. By cutting their taxes you are taking away money that would go for that stuff. And I'm not sure how all of that shit is where you live, but our roads are shit, our schools are shit, and our kids are fucking stupid. That's the whole point, is there any benefit to society in having companies sit on all of that cash to do nothing with? If they don't hire or grow their companies the tax base stays small. Do you really see the middle class increasing consumption in the near future when they have no money? Nobody wants high taxes but we need actual solutions, not mumbo jumbo trickle down that's never worked before and won;t ever work ever.

Reagan screwed the country big-time it was under Red Ronnie that the decline of the middle-class started and the debt began to pile up....you may want to learn US history and not the TV version as it's all in the numbers right in black & white....
