Hey folks, need a little advice.I am 57 years old and in pretty good shape except I have a sverely torn rotator cuff. My doctors THINKS I will be able to lift/workout again after rehab.
Has anyone here had the surgery and if so how did it work out for you? Thanks

Im 46.. small tear, hurts like balls, Im trying to continue to work around it, it sucks, will get the surgery when i cant take it anymore, I see no reason why you wont be able to work out once its healed !

No rest for the tan and jerked !

I haven't, but my brother just had surgery on his rotor cuff. He is almost fully recovered now, and back to 100%. It worked great for him.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am just nervous about it. But I can't work out now anyway until something is fixed.

Went back to the doctor yesterday. He said the tissue in my rotator cuff was in such poor condition that it may not hold,So no lifting ever again.Anyone know of anything that will build tissue? Thanks
