Anyone got any advice on this. I absolutely love my cardio but i can't run anymore:

I start off fine, but after about 4 minutes it all starts, I get an upper/mid back pain when i take a deep breath, i also feel this in my windpipe. I sometimes get a chest pain on my left side, but now it is mostly in my back. I went to the docs about this about a year ago, i've had it for 3 years. They said my heart is fine etc so I'm guessing it ain't that. The pain seems to be relieved when my intercostal muscles are rubbed in that area, only on my chest cos I can't reach my back!!! It also hurts a bit when i swallow..in my back!!!!!!

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

go to another doc.

what kind of a moron doctor tells you "oh its not your heart etc, so you're fine"

Pat's right go get a second opinion and a third and fourth if they turn out to be morons also. get a diagnosis, don't let em just say "oh its not x so you're fine"

get a sports medecine Doctor if you can.
