Gunfire erupted in Seattle Wednesday morning at a restaurant north of the University of Washington. The gunman was described as a man in his 30s wearing dark clothes. Two men died at the scene. A woman from the cafe died at a hospital. (May 30)

Another mass shooting & killing.

A mentally ill person with anger issues walks in and kills at random.

I'm a gun ownever, former NRA members and former owner of a concealed weapons permit (when I lived in the US).

I still don't think a "ban" on guns would prevent criminals, gangsters and the mentally ill from going on the killing sprees, nor reduce gun crimes.

With 170-220 million guns in the US that we know of, it'd be a bit of a moot point. Anyone else see it this way?

If and when I return to the US, I may renew my concealed weapons permit again and carry in some places in certain situations.
