1 month ago i checked my 1 RM (Squat) and it was 80 kg.

So i picked about %85 of it and started with 65 kg..

Im working out pure strength so im doing only 3 reps per set and 2 sets. I work 3 days per week.

1st week it was 65 kg. 2nd week i increased the weight to 68 kg. And 3rd week to 70 kg.

However in the second workout day of the 3 rd. I couldnt complete the 3 rep of the 1 set. So i intentionally did 2 reps in the second set.

4th week i didnt increase the weight and worked-out 2 reps x 2 sets...

At the last day of 4th week, i tested my 1 RM and i saw that it increased to 90 kg!!

So now? What shall i go? Shall i just increase the 70 kg by 1 or 2 kgs or shall i take the %85 of the 90 kg and go with 75 kg?

I have been working out for 4 months... And my goal is neural strength gains. Not hypertrophy...

either way you need to learn about some basic periodization principles to prevent CNS burn out. check out some of the books by Tudor Bompa.
