So, I'm asking someone with dietary experience to cook for me.
And so far, she says this:

> I am used to making food for people trying to gain mass. If you are looking
> to put on lean muscle mass you need about 130 grams of protein a day and are
> weighttraining for hypertrophy. You will probably need a supplement because
> I can only supply you with 50 grams of protein in the two meals. You will
> also need complex carbs like whole wheat pasta, brown rice and sweet potato.
> The carbs help with getting the protein to the muscle for recovery--the
> protein to repair and grow.
>
> Breakfast is either 5 egg whites/eggs or 1 cup cottage cheese with 2 slices
> whole grain toast and a banana (20-30 grams of protein)
>
> Snack 1 1/2 cup almonds or peanut butter and banana in whole wheat pita and
> a cup of yoghurt (15 grams protein)
>
> Lunch- multigrain pasta salad with tuna and veggies or
> brown rice, egg and tuna salad (25 grams of protein)
>
> Snack 2 - protein shake(30-40 grams of protein)
>
> Dinner will consist of
> Chicken and sweet potato with veggie
> Beef Curry with brown rice with veggie (25 grams of protein)
>
> This menu is approximately 135 grams of protein.

I think to get me started that looks good.
Currently, I think I'm somewhere around 130lbs (:-() but due to the christmas (I know, been sometime.) I have a some fat around my belly, and I'm trying to get rid of it.

A friend suggested 20 mins of the eclipse machine for atleast 10-20 days, without eating fatty foods, and take slimfast diet, and eat salad before going to sleep.
I am prepared to do it, because even a little belly fat on a skinny dude looks gross.
And I wanna lose it.

Once that's done (the fat is gone), I'm going to start doing my weight-lifting more intensively, and get into the above diet that the woman told me she'd make for me.

And I'm aiming to gain strictly muscle mass and increase my weight to 150lbs (I stand 5'10 - 5'11 tall) by October, 2006.

I know, I know, you guys might say don't increase weight.. but please, I've been skinny and 'light' all my life, even all the blondes I'm having sex with can lift me - soooo embarassing! --so I need to gain some weight, not the unhealthy, fat weight, but healthy-muscle weight.

Also, I think I'll be getting some supplement too.. just because I believe the lady can't give me too much protein in her foods, lol.

----

Now, having showed you my plan, all I'm really looking for is.. advice as to do you think the woman knows what she's talking about?

I don't wanna pay her and get food from her, if she's just saying stuff like that from God knows where, lol.

---

Please don't flame me - I'm skinny, and I'm a beginner. :-(

Why would you pay somone to make you food? Just make it yourself and get as much damn protein as you want!

You could make that meal in under an hour....the ENTIRE 5 MEALS....and you would save a shit load of money I'm sure.

Plus that diet could use some work....cottage cheese first thing in the morning not ideal. You want a faster acting protein considering your body has been calorie deprived for the whole night. And they are not well balanced meals.

I say the hell with the cook, and the hell with losing weight....just starting eating alot of clean food that you made and grow!

I always have cottage cheese for breakfast along with eggs/eggwhites

My schedule is really rigorous, many people tell me to make my food myself.
And everytime I set out to do it, I fell back.. I never got anything done.

And my goals kept getting postponed.
And this is my best way out for now, till I achieve my goals.. and then when I finally can afford to do it on my own, I definitely will.

Currently, this is a good way for me to not procrastinate as achieving my goals is important, and I'm willing to pay to get there.

It's just like saying "to hell with the trainers, come to ironmaganize and learn do it on your own, you'll save a lotta money".

But people go to trainers because that's the best way to achieve their goals by getting things done straightup.

You are also having a fast digesting protein as well...egg whites. She was refering to just cottage cheese first thing in the morning which is not ideal!

Theres a diffrerence...if you cook something wrong your asses out of a meal and can try again. If you perform exercises wrong you could seriously hurt yourself for life! That doesn't mean go out and get a trainer b/c half of em dont know their ass from their elbow but there are some good ones out there.

All I'm saying is you could get a better diet made by yourself for cheaper but if thats all you can do then go for it....I know I never would. We can't really help you with it b/c she is the one cooking not yourself.

Oh and who ever told you about that slimfast shit and salad right before bed....kick him is the nuts for me :thumb:

LMAO LOL! Slimfast and salad for 1 week isn't good? I'm trying to lose fat around my belly. And if cardio and slimfast can do it, why not?

Oh, and I soooo agree with you about the personal trainers. 80% of them are guys who worked out at the same gym for a long time, and they got hired.
And they don't pay attention to the client either.

*sigh*

But yeah, this is my only good way to reach atleast SOME point in my goals, because if I take it upon myself, it'll take very very long before anything even changes, lol.

Ok, so if you think cottage cheese is a slow-acting protein, what do you suggest for a fast-acting protein? (Because I think I'll be doing the breakfast myself.)

Slimfat isfull of sugar andother crap....just eat clean solid foods and suppliment with some whey shakes if in a pinch. Burn more calories then you take in and your set!

As for breakfast...whey and oats, egg whites and oats, something along those lines.

Ok, boss.. you got it.
I'll keep that in mind, thanks a lot for your help.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Oh, by the way.. is there a good way to lose the fat around my belly, AND at the same time work on my abs?

And also, do icecreams or periodical smoothies do any good?

Here is the equation for getting abs that show

80% diet
19% lifting/cardio
1% crunches

and ice cream won't help at all. You can have a cheat meal here and there and have a little bit.

Wow, Favre.
I always thought it was half diet and half workout, but you just killed it, lol.

I don't know if cardio would be helpful for me seeing how I'm 130lbs, and I have a little christmas fat around my belly - I'm in the process of losing that.

OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit. My point is ab work is such a tiny part of it. That's why those infomercials for some ab device saying how many pounds and inches so and so lost using their device drive me nuts. It's bull.

My advice to anyone is to add as much muscle as possible and then worry about the abs. You can lose fat a lot easier when you have extra muscle mass and are using it. Most people are too impatient for that though. They want the abs in 28 days.

I'm not impatient for abs, lol. I have time till October! :D

What's the best fast-acting protein that I can "buy" to have in the morning right away, and not have to work like boil eggs and stuff?

Is there anything like it?

A side-line..

I'm trying to get atleast 200gms of protein, and atLEAST 2600 cals per day.

This is what I'm trying to do:

2 eggs at 8am

3 baked chicken samosas (triangle shaped things made of flour filled with chicken, indian snack) around 11-11.30am.

Home-made lunch of atleast 20g of protein/700cals around 2pm.

---

Around 7pm, I take a protein shake... 36gs of protein, and 150cals.
8.30 - 9.45pm workout.
Get home around 11 or so, and have my home-made dinner, 20gs of protein/700cals.

Here's my confusion. I want to eat something protein rich in protecin/cals atleast once between 2pm and 7pm.

I don't know what good product that I can _buy_, not make will be good for that.
Also, I'm going to buy a liquid amino acid thing for my post-workout drink.

AND,
I don't know what nutrition info it is for the samosas, eggs, etc.

The thing is, I'm a disgusting 129lbs, and I'm trying to gain strict muscle mass to touch atleast 150lbs.

As for fast acting protein, try whey with water, there are loads of companies who sell it, and the price does vary, but we wary of those which cost very little or alot of money. ( very little cud = crap) (alot could = waste of money)
