I would like to incorporate these extension movements into my routine. However, I don't like using EZ bars, and they feel akward if my grip is close on a straight bar. If I make my grip wide, like just inside the rings wide, then they feel alright.

Would this take away from the tricep activation, or is there any other conceivable reason not to perform these exercises like this?
