I was just wondering if it was a bad thing to go to sleep right after your last meal or should I be waiting a couple hours?

I'm bulking if that matters.

Thanks! :)

I eat not to long before I hit the hay. I usually wait at least 30 min to an hour. Only because some times depending on what I eat, I may feel full and it is uncomfortable to lay down. If the meal is small enough (you are comfortable) you prolly only need a few minutes if that. I think it is more of a personal thing. I just try and make the meal on the smaller side without many starchy carbs.

I am cutting and usually set up my meal plan where my last one lands about 2 -3 hours before going to bed.

At night time I will wait half an hour at least. However I used to sleep in the afternoon after getting up stupidly early for work, I used to eat and then a minute later go to sleep for a couple hours, never had a problem with this.

IMO, if you're bulking you'd want to take advantage of a meal closer before sleeping, say a 1/2 hour before bed. You're gonna be without food for the next 8 hours.

Thanks for the replies guys! :thumb:

My days are packed with stuff to do, so I generally need to fall alseep right after my last meal so I can get 8 - 9 hours of sleep before school.

I usually eat 30 minutes before going to sleep. It has been working fine for me.
