i went to college at UMO and in the summer a lot of seniors come up from Florida and take classes. i had the privilege of befriending a holocaust survivor who, during one of our many long talks, told me many Jewish people do eat pork and consider the rule not to outdated.

I had a survivor come speak to my kids for a few years, right after we read Elie Wiesel's Night. She was a wonderful lady, very kind and generous with her time. She and a cousin were the only family members to survive. Sadly, she passed a few years ago.
