Oh I didnt even do what I came on here to do I went off on a fucking rant. I wrote him an email because he left the house before I woke up and he basically told me she's going to have to deal with her problems the business and my happiness come before her. So it worked out so far. She might move out she's got the director personality type they bail if they cant get their way but she might just learn to deal with it. My girl is a good girl and shes clean and polite and a sweetheart Im not letting her get kicked out and Im not losing my freedom as a grown man. I guess he respects that. Anyways. Take it easy.

You can easily go get a job get paid work on it on your off time probably other programmers where you work will be pumped to do this. This will also give you better networking and meeting people. I am a person who has been down this path before (a couple of times actually) it all depends on who's side your looking at it from. His side= I do all this work, I make all these sacrifices etc etc
Bro side= I took him in, he works but I give him all of this and that and it is my place I can do what I want.

bingo i wouldnt even live there fine another roomate, i prefer not to live with family, because if you have a falling out with family your stuck with them in your life, if you have a falling out with a friend you can at least avoid there dumb ass for a while. I used to be a construction worker. I had an ok job but it was just ok. I made enough money to have my own place and my own life. I went back to school for computer science (computer programming) After I finished school my older brother who is a software engineer himself wanted to start an app business for android. It was his idea and he pushed it. So I dropped my life and moved out of state and basically lived in his living room. Which was fine and everything has been going pretty well. I started dating a girl pretty much as soon as I got here. Shes slept at my house pretty much every night since we met. So then my older brother got a girlfriend and she wanted to move into a bigger place. They had only been dating like 2 months maybe and they just got a bigger apartment together which of course I live in also. Its a 3 bedroom, plenty of room for all of us. Everything has been going fine here but now today he tells me that his girlfriend wants my girlfriend to basically not come over anymore. And not for any particular reason other than her own control issues or something. My girlfriend literally is perfect. Shes polite, shes clean, she typically is in my bedroom reading. She doesnt disturb anyone. So my brother is telling me that she wants my girlfriend to only come over a couple nights a week max from now on or his girlfriend is moving out. I dont pay rent. And I think thats why they think they can make decisions on what I can do in the house. But Im not only an invited guest but Im his damn brother. The business is literally just becoming self sufficient and isnt making enough money to pay me pay checks yet. So when he was telling me this I was pretty much just saying yea ok Ill work stuff out. But then after thinking about it more and talking to my girlfriend im mad as hell. I dont sleep at my girlfriends house for many reasons. I have a dog that needs to be taken out at night and in the morning. I have a shitty back that needs my mattress to not have back pain in the mornings while my girlfriends bed is literally 5 inches too short for me and is not very comfortable. I cant bring my dogs to my gfs condo either they dont allow dogs. I obviously dont have the time or money to be traveling every night and morning to and from my girlfriends house. I also go to the gym with my girlfriend which this new shit would end that. So now that Ive been laying in bed festering with anger Im thinking about what to tell my brother. I think Im gonna tell him that I didnt come here for that kind of bullshit. If his girlfriend doesnt want to live with other people then she shouldnt have gotten an apartment thats shes basically backing out of now. Im a grown man I cant be having my life dictated by some controlling eastern european girl. Im curious what other people think of this.
