LAS VEGAS -- It???s clearly one of those instances where what happens in Vegas doesn???t stay in Vegas.
That???s the obvious joke, of course, but a California businesswoman wasn???t laughing after she heard her husband was in Sin City with another woman.
???I don???t know who she is,??? Carolyn Connelly said of the
21-year-old, who was rushed to a hospital Thursday night after being struck by an airline propeller near McCarran Airport???s executive terminal.
The pilot, Don Connelly, owns the single-engine Beechcraft airplane. Connelly and his wife own Connelly Equipment Rental in El Cajon, Calif.
Carolyn Connelly called FOX5 after hearing a report that the woman was injured by her husband???s plane. She said her husband left home days ago, saying he was going away on business -- but not to Las Vegas.
She doesn???t know the woman who was injured and said her husband doesn???t want her to, describing the incident as a ???rendezvous gone wrong.???
???I do know she's someone's child, she's 21 years old. She belongs to somebody and I don't know if her parents have been notified or what the situation is with her because I don't know her,??? she added.
Connelly said she suspects an affair and was contemplating calling a divorce lawyer.
FOX5 placed several calls to Don Connelly, but they were not returned.
The young woman was taken to University Medical Center, where she was last listed in fair condition.
