I didn't specifically ask them what "exercises" to do, but asked how I increase my bat speed, most of them all replied balance is so very important in generating bat speed, and some others replied by saying to work on your forearms/wrists. Anther important are to work on are the abdominal muscles because your abs creat a powerful twisting motion during the swing.
