I want a workout that is good if I don't care about how I look, muscle definition etc. I want to gain STRENGTH. Also, I don't want lots of excess body fat. I want muscle. Lean and dense muscle. I don't care about muscle size or weight either, or looks or shape. Of course that will probably come when you gain strength, but my 'strength to body weight ratio' is most important to me. Meaning, I don't want to just get huge.

I want to maximize my max for each weight, while maintaining muscular endurance so I can do LOTS of pushups and pullups. I don't care about size/weight/looks of my muscles. Just quality. I want to train for FUNCTION not FORM.

***Meaning, for my bodyweight I want to be able to lift more than the guy the same weight who just cares about how his muscles look, or how big he is.***

Will the P/RR/S workout be good for this? If not, can somebody help me out on what to do?

I think your diet is the most important thing in gaining muscle. Maybe eat your maintenance calories. P/RR/S is a program made for gaining muscle. Maybe some powerlifting work outs would be better for someone who wants to gain strength. Not sure on this on. Never had this question asked before...
