There is a sign hanging in the cardio area that reads:

"PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TREADMILLS RUNNING"

:twitch:

It amazes me that people need to be reminded of that.

The only time I have ever seen this was when a guy was running, then he jump off the treadmill and go do a set of weights, say bench press, then back to running.

Running in between sets is what I consider "over the top." :)

actually, it does not surprise me. :)

kind of like "Replace all weights after you use them", or "Do not drop the dumbbells".

I used to do a lot of running between sets, I'd run 5 minutes as a warmup, then I'd run for a minute between every set, I didn't like just sitting there waiting for a minute to go by between a set. Seemed like a good idea at the time, might still be a good idea (if over the top means it sounds hard it's not, at least if you're working out at home with your own equipment, if you mean over the top as too much cardio that probably depends on your goals).

...and they probably ignore it just like those signs that say "Please turn off the lights when not in use"...
