Pop you have to shoot on the side of the quad...if the top of your quad hurts that says to me that you shoot straight down? I shoot into the outer sweep muscle of the quad...whatever its called. I stand up and put my hands to my side..where my middle finger ends is how far down I shoot....I shoot not directly into the side but up a tad. I go in very slow because as others mention there are many nerves in the area...sometimes you have to poke a couple times before you find the area without nerves...after doing that a while you will know your sweet spot.... I am shooting test e right now in quads and no pain and very little soreness. Test prop was not so friendly in the quads...I would be sore for like 3 days...
I was told that the quad has alot of nerves and is a bad place to shoot. Ever since than I'v been mega leary of shooting in the quad. Where abouts on the quad is a good region to shoot?
Quads are tha bomb at least for me. Maybe at's cuz I've been kicked in tha legs so much that it's conditioned to take pain. I can't call it. But I always inject in my thigh while seated leg bent to relax tha quad,I noticed for me tha problem was break'n thru tha skin, so I just toss it a little like a dart not like I'm pitch'n for Boston and shit but just a little toss to get thru tha skin and it's over.I tend to shoot a little higher up than you guys have posted. Anyway that works for tha kid. Peace n Love
to help with any soreness I use a machine to massage the area for 15 minutes after the injection...then I sleep with a heating pad on the injection site that night....when doing both of those I get little to no soreness with enanthate, and much less then normal when using prop.
