is soy milk healthy for a bodybuilder or just someone who workouts? it has a whole lot less sugar than regular milk.

NO! It's very bad for men. Plus, like you said, it has excess sugar, compared to regular milk. What would be the point?

He said it has less sugar.

I kinda wondered about soy as well. I hear it's only a so-so protein source but for vegetarians it seems to work okay.

Why would it be bad for men?

Soy has been shown to raise the chance of prostate cancer in men.
It also contains estrogen like precursors.

Go ahead and drink up, by all means!

Results showed significantly increased muscle protein breakdown in the pigs that got the soybean protein." Lohrke, B., et al. (2001). "The activity of SHBG was an average of nearly 9 percent greater on the soy diet. Since the extra SHBG tied up circulating testosterone, that led to a relative dominance of estrogen over testosterone." Habito, R.C., et al. (2000). Effects of replacing meat with soybean in the diet on sex hormone concentrations in healthy adult males. British J Nutr. 84:557-63.

:clapping: Thank you!

Not agreeing or disagreeing w/ soy being bad. But the test was done on PIGS, not human beings. There is a slight possibility for different outcomes.
