The whole thing is way to sketchy for anyone to believe. Either you are way more gullible than you're admitting to, or you expect us to be fucking idiots. One thing that makes this really ridiculously idiotic for you to think we're going to go for this is the fact that you want us to send donations to you, and you'll forward them. Your thread post has all the makings of an internet scam.
And lying about your car being stolen cause you killed your kids, is a lot different than lying about someone elses bad luck so you can rip some people off on a few bucks.
Even if this story is true, they need to find a better way to do something than asking for handouts on the internet. Asking for handouts on the internet just makes them look like incompetent retards, who are setting a bad example for their kids.
We just moved from a mill-town where almost every man living there, lost their way of life, and their abundant paycheck amount, when the mill shut down. They've gone from living quite comfortably, to poverty. They get by. They deal. And they instill the nobility of taking care of their families no matter what happens, into their own children, instead of teaching them that other people will do it for them, and asking for handouts online.

Washington said in a news release following Monday???s sentencing of Brent Finley that the couple convinced numerous people that Stacey Finley was a CIA agent and with her contacts she could schedule a medical scan of the victims??? bodies by satellite imaging that would detect any hidden medical problems.
The Finley???s convinced their victims that, if any medical problems were found, secret agents would administer medicine to them as they slept in exchange for payment, according to a bill of information filed when the Finleys were charged in May???

Whether or not you choose to believe it. You are fucking gullible if you believe that story, and send money to a stranger over the internet in hopes of doing some good. I'm not saying it's your fault your friend lied to you, or the people she knows lied to her. And it's not even your fault that you lack the common sense to realize how scam like the whole thing appears, or realize that Prince just might not have the time to review every thread on the forum. And yes it does look like a scam.

Reasons Fitgirl70's post looks like a scam.​

1. "Hi everyone. I certainly don't expect you to read the full bit below, but I'd like you to know that my friend got the below email from a friend of hers. At this time of year, everyone seems to be a little hard-pressed, but the information below just sort of wishes I could do anything to help out."

This is how a lot of scams start out. "a friend of a friend of mine" and then they spend two paragraphs trying to tug at your heart strings and get you to feel bad for someone in need. Oh paalleeze

2. "If anyone would like to help out, you're welcome to send donations to me, I'll forward them on from there."

Uh huh. Of course.

3. "*insert ridiculous drabble of someones ridiculously unbelievable bad luck."

Sure.

I'm not trying to say you're trying to scam people. It looks as though you and your boyfriend are well off, and don't need to. But either your friend is trying to scam some people or just has a soft spot for chain mails.

Here's some sound advice, put your 17 year old to work....I just looked through some old papers and found my Social Security Statement....when I was 16 I made $11,000 working at Wal-Mart as a cart pusher part-time I did do alot of overtime but I made a good amount for my age and going to school, at 17 I made $14,800...I pretty much supported myself my last 2 years of High School because my fathers "wife" who I would never give the privilege of calling my step-mother had 2 drunk driving accidents and nearly broke him financially......

I made probably 20-25 grand waiting tables last year.

10-15 of it the gov't doesnt know about.

I live on my own, support myself, pay all my bills and I work probably 25 hours a week. Yep.

Have your kids get jobs and have your man suck it up.
