Squats and Scars

Hey when you guys do your squats, do you notice temporary (1-2 days only) type of scars on your shoulders/traps? They're just a bunch of red lines (bunched up together), but they fade away within 1-2 days, so I know they're not stretchmarks or anything....

I seem to be getting them after every squat session and in the same area!

Just wanting to hear some input.
 
ive seen that a few times....i tossed it up to the grip on the bar leaving an imprint? When i use a towel for padding they don't show up.
 
Yes....I got the scars when I first started training. It was caused from a combination of the bar during squats and using the standing calf raise machine. I figured I busted some blood vessels. Went away after a day or two. So fear not, you're not alone. I no longer have this issue....I figure my shoulders have toughened up.
 
ya i get them too. The first time i saw it, i was like wtf? How'd i get this? I thought my cat just happened to scratch me when i was sleeping but i got it again after my next workout and it's from squats and standing calf raises
 
Ive got 'em from squats, from hip sled, and from the bench when benchpressing. Aint no thang. ;)
 
Yea scars dont go away. Lets do a vocubulary check here.
