That all depends on what cut of the steery you purchase. Different pieces of flesh require different cooking methods to reach optimum pleasure. (grill it) Other than that add some sauteed mushrooms and onions, small baked potato, broccoli, and a large cherry cheesecake. Then I'm sure you'll reach some satisfaction.

well i was thinking about boiling it.. then letting its oils cook it afterwards till its good and ready and adding some tendaizer(sp?) to make it right... but i guess i could use a george formean grill... which :) any ideas on the first one?? i think it would be better for me to do the former and easier

Broiling is good, nothing beats a lean cut of eye of top round, yummie:p :p :D

DAMN I love steak! But I only eat it a few times a year. It's hard to find a good steak restaurant. Outback Steakhouse isn't too good....very fatty servings there.

I have three letters for ya!!!
BBQ:lick: :lick: :lick:    :bounce2:

BBQ is the best way to cook a steak. If you don`t have a BBQ the Foreman grill will do or just use the broil or grill feature on your oven. If using your oven put the steak about 4-5 inches below the top element and cook 5-6 minutes per side for rare, 7-8 minutes per side for medium doneness, anymore than that will be overcooking making the steak tough and chewy.

The best steaks for tenderness and flavor are tenderloin(filet mignon), t-bone(porterhouse),rib and sirloin.
If you want a steak a little more leaner such as eye, inside( top round), outside( bottom round) or sirloin tip you should marinade them unless you like tough steaks.
You can put your favorite spices on your steak before cooking it but never put salt on it. Salt will toughen your steak up like a piece of leather, putting a little salt on after it`s cooked is fine.:thumb:
