Steroids.

An interesting topic that you don't know anything about until you try them for yourself. I figured i'd share my short, true story for any who are interested, for all you juicers who can relate, and for anyone who is thinking of juicing for the first time.

I'm now 23 years old and have been truely BB for about 3 years with the most important thing IMO, the Mind-to-muscle connection. I've been lifting for 7 total. While BB, and in idolizing my hero, Arnold, I really fell in love with BB over the last few years, and in doing so, of course became curious with steroids. I knew very little, except that i learned i could actually get some from a friend of a friend. I decided that i may never get the chance again, so i got his advice and bought the goods (and even got it for cost)

I juiced for the first time last fall. Vaguely knowing what i was doing, i remember being nervous as hell taking my first shot. What would it feel like? What effects would it have on me? Well, i'd soon find out.

My first cycle i went from 205 to a big 235. After PCT, i stayed at about 220 (about 10%bf).
My 2nd cycle i went from 220 to 230, and am currently just under 230, and the leanest i've ever been. (i'll be posting pics hopefully this weekend)

EFFECTS:
GOOD:
Ahhhhhhh. The benefits of steroids. They are seemingly endless. First off, the only way to describe being "on" is that you feel like a million bucks at all times. This only gets upped when you finish working out and your muscles are incredibly swollen, you then feel like a cool $2mil. When you workout out, you experience the obvious effect of increased strength, but you also get these pumps that are mind-blowing. The "magic" strength and pumps you get have a weird effect on your mind.

This is where the mental part of steroids comes in. Seeing the incredibly quicky results right before your eyes (pumps, strength and size) only makes you work harder. You're then working harder and get better results, which only makes you work harder. Its a cycle that just keep repeating.

This is where there's a thin line b/w how important steroids are. IMO, This is why Arnold was so successful, and why pro BB's are so dedicated. Arnold started juicing at age 15. He experienced incredibly quick results in both size and strength, and that's only gonna make you wanna work harder. You then are working harder, and, like i said above, you get that repeating cycle.
On the other hand, there's the idiots who say "the only reason those guys are so big is b/c the of steroids". Well, needless to say, those people are idiots. Without the proper training and diet, steriods are worthless. But at the same time, without steriods, pro BB's don't get ANYWHERE close to where they are.

BAD:
Not to the bad effects. Unfortunately, my cycles didnt go perfectly. I experienced some excess acne on my shoulders and back. But that didnt bother me too much b/c i've grown up with it all my life, and because it didnt appear on my face, i could care less. Plus i can get all tan in the summer and kinda cover it up.

The worst thing i had to endure was the dreaded gyno. It appeared as my first cycle was ending, and boy was i devastated. I even took all the proper precautions with anti-e's, and it STILL formed. I was severely depressed, and thought i'd have to live with it the rest of my life (and cosmetically it didnt even really look that bad, its just the thought of having it). LUCKILY, and i stress LUCKILY, i found a doctor that said he could remove it. I lied to him and told him it formed from Ph's, and luckily he believed me. I was nervous as hell going into surgery, cuz i obviously didnt know how it would look when i was done. It couldn't have went better.

Needless to say, i didnt learn my lesson, and months later decided i wanted to juice again, and am currently ending my 2nd cycle. Wouldn't you know it, it formed, AGAIN (on the other side). Luckily, again, this time i previously confirmed with my doctor that if it formed "for some reason" on the other side, that he'd remove it. That's where i'm at right now as we speak.

The other big thing that sucks about steroids is coming "off". You go from feeling like a million bucks, being horny as hell, strong as a bull and looking huge, to "normal" again. Its that time that you have to try and realize that you ARE bigger than when you juiced. You just get so used to being huge that you forget how you looked before.

Anyhow, i'll stop babbling now. This was my story with the juice. My opinions of pro BB's is just that, my opinion. But i honestly feel they get where they are not only from the obvious physical effects of years of steriods, but also the mental sides that "keep that circle repeating over and over again".

I hope all of you who have never tried it can learn something from this, although you will never know what i'm fully talking about until you try it for yourself. I'm not saying go out and juice, just don't judge it or the people who "use" until you have tried it. If you do decide to, be PREPARED for everthing that can happen.
For those who read this, thanks for being patient. I hope it was at least interesting if not informative.

Keep pumpin',

Hi, my name is Flex and I have been been sober for... uh. wait I'm still on! ah ha.. juss playin buddy. Nice post thou man. Very helpful and an interestign read, even thou I knew all that before.. lol.

hey flex, good post dude

How will u avoid gyno in future cycles? do you know what triggers gyno in ur body specifically..

well since he had his mammary glands removed I don't think he has to worry about it anymore. The possibility of getting gyno varies greatly on the person, but what basically triggers it is the conversion of excess androgens into estrogen. You can avoid it by using ancillary drugs and pct, or using low androgenic drugs throuout your cycle

thanks deeno, glad you enjoyed it.

GR81 is right. But he meant to say, once i get my other gland removed, i'll be all set. Then i won't have to worry about it anymore.

You just gotta be careful. I used all the anti-e's in the world, but they did nothing for me and it STILL formed. I almost lucked out though by developing it the 2nd time around because this time i covered my tracks with my Dr., and if it didnt form, good (maybe the 1st was just a freak occurence). But if it did form, even better, cuz he'd remove it, and I'd never have to worry about it again. But imagine if it came back in the one i'd already had removed?

I was willing to take that chance. But believe me, sweated it out and prayed that it didnt form there again. Now i can juice in the future and not have to worry about it.

Thanks, Flex. I enjoyed reading your experience. As someone who has yet to do his first cycle, it was informative.

What did your cycles look like, and what anti-e's did you use? Just curious.

1st cycle:
week 1-4 30mg/day russian dbol
week 1-8 500mg/week omnadren

That dbol is POTENT, let me tell ya. my boy told me it takes a few days to kick in, but i felt it the 1st day. by the 2nd day, i was already getting insane pumps. I put on over 20lb
at the "peak" of my cycle. Thats what the dbol does....hold a lot of water. You feel like a fuckin' Monster on dbol, let me tell ya.

2nd cycle:
week 1-8 500mg/week sustanon

i wanted to do a small, test-only cycle to see (and hope) it was the dbol that caused the gyno. It formed again, both unfortunately (the gyno occured) and fortunately (because i lucked out and i'm getting it removed). I put on about 10lb, and am now leaner than ever (currently 230lb).

As for anti-e's, I used .5mg/day arimidex throughout the cycle, and nolva when my nips got itchy. They both didn't do anything for me, as the gyno occured both cycles.

How to know if you're forming gyno...
your nips get itchy, from the inside. in other words, its not an itch you can scratch. Your nips then start becoming puffy. You then form tissue under your nips that feels like a little marble. thats when you know you have gyno, and only surgery gets rid of that.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Good story.

Methinks that I won't be messing with anything like that until I am a very experienced lifter though ;) I think I will wait until I hit a plateau that I can't break through any kind of body shock.

Besides... my wife might look at me funny if almost all of the suddent I have tossed on 15-25 lbs of body mass and my ass looks like a pincushion

Out of curiosity though what is the surgery like for the gyno? Is it a long process or complicated one? Is it something your insurance covered? (curious because I am about to start a program to become a physician's assistant)

Needles dont leave visible marks.

"
Needles dont leave visible marks."

That all depends where you are injecting them and if you are aiming to inject into a muscle or into a vein.

Good post Flex :)
I am upset though because you started it "vaguely knowing" about it. How can you start something that dangerous that way? We have to do a coalition at IM to seriously hurt a member that does that.

I had a feeling you had used dbol, that's why I asked. But my next question was going to be if you had tried a test only cycle, suspecting like you, it was the dbol. Well that sucks. I am really surprised that it still occured while you were using arimidex and nolva.

I've only run a few PH cycles and one gear cycle. I have to admit, towards the end of the gear (test prop/winny), my nips started getting sensitive to the touch. Not itchy, but like it would hurt slightly if pressed. I took 60mg ed of nolva for a week and it went away, Thank God. Do you use research lab anti-e or tabs? I used research lab nolva, and it proved to be effective. But it worries me to think some of the research lab stuff could be junk or way underdosed.

Steroid users are to be found here, not heroin addicts. Of the many locations I have shot there are no markings to be found.

That was some story.. I actually read it multiple times, very interesting.

the surgery is an all day occurence, although i'm "out" for all of 2hrs. They take me in the morning, i wait in the pre-op, they put me out, then shortly later i wake up all fucked up off painkilling meds, and i sit there for a few hours. I then get a prescrip for some good painkiller meds, and i'm on my way.

All thats left is a tiny scar on the bottom of my nip. but you can't see it unless you really look for it, cuz he cuts right along the bottom edge of the nip.

Yes, insurance covered it, luckily. I did lie to him though. I told him it formed after i took legal over the counter supps. He then labeled the surgery "tissue biopsy", so ins. would cover. I figured if i told him i juiced he wouldnt have sympathy for me, and ins. doesnt cover cosmetic surgery....so alls it cost me after ins. was $110. best $110 i ever spent...

well like i said, i figured it may have been my only chance at getting juice, so i went for it. it worked out good, cuz now i not only have a great connex but he's also my good buddy.

and also, like i said, the only real method to learn about what your doing is to do it for yourself (assumign you know the "basics")

pardon me for my ignorance. is "gyno" man tits?
yes, it is.

but don't get me wrong, i didnt have fullblown gyno. i had a lump about the size of a marble under my nips. that makes 'em a tad pointy. but when your a man, ANY pointy is TOO pointy.

Good point.. Eh, I mean.. Ah you know what I mean... :rocker:

How much weight did you lose while going thru surgery-rehabilitation.. And how long before you were able to workout after the surgery ?

barely any, bro.

i only have to take like 10 days off after the date of surgery. and thats for upper body. so i can still do lower body, and you better believe i hit my legs/calves hard during that time.

the weight i do lose is from coming off the cycle. you don't even really lose wieght when you think about it, though, cuz any weight you're up since the day you start your cycle is gains.

the thing that does suck is the mental thing that goes on when you don't get those insane pumps from being "on". thats the biggest downfall....

You peaked my curiosity, now I have to read your journal.. :thumb:
