I had a small left rotor shoulder injury 2 months back and so took out upper body weight training but kept the legs. also did cardio (2-3 times a week).

Since last week I have started to feel some lower back pain. I walked for more than a mile yesterday and it started hurting a bit. Then I had to stand for 30min today in the train coming back home from work, and it started hurting. I dont know why. my back has always been very flexible and i ve never had any pains in this area.

I ve an appointment with the doc next thurs. So untill then, I was wondering if any of you folks ve been throught his common lower back pain thing and how you coped with it and what was the cause of it (wrong posture, etc).

Thanks for reading this far :)

Take a break for a couple day's and see if it improves, you may have changed your posture or something to keep the strain off of you shoulder or may be sleeping differently causing you to use/strain other muscles more often than they are used to. I know since I injured my back moving around hurts so I hold my back in one position for a long time and the supporting muscles start to ache cause they aren't used to it.
