he was born with echoalia...pretty much baby talk and repeating was all he could do for a long tim...he has come a long way
like you got kids grandmas boy lol
congrats bro, the hard work is worth it, children are a blessingEchoalia is a form of autism...mostly effecting speech...we were told he may never talk or walk straight
when he finally did start to talk he only said a few words...repeated the same phrases over and over...when you ask him a question he would just repeat whaever you said to him...slowly but surely he has outgrown it...almost completely...he sometimes gets stuck and stutters a little
he is such a smart kid...i consider him to be such a strong guy...i never allowed anyone to tell him something was wrong with him...sometimes even his mom was so discouraged ...she started to go along with the doctors...i wouldnt accept that..i took it upon myself to teach him anytime we were alone...he was reading an writing at 3 when he could barely talk....his feet turned a odd angles...he started in head start special ed classes 2 years before kindergarten....i remember calling my adopted dad crying bout how i was one of the Many who picked on people who rode the short bus OR just referred to it in jokes...now i was putting my son on one
but anyway...he is in reg school....makin good grades...behaves sometimes
dravin wins
