-yeh i know this is dumb, but illl never know unless i ask.

Well, i have started a fairly decent diet, eating about 5 times a day. What i want to know is what sort of foods are required. ( if it helps, im 5"8 144lbs, i little chubby, only a bit, leading quite an athletic lifestyle as i play tennis alot)

Im not a complete retard as i know the basics - chicken-fish-green vegetables- fruit- water-oats- egg white. Only im quite sure there is gotta be some more variation. Help me out if can be answered.

Thanks in advanced.

40% Protien
40% Carbs
20% Greens & Fruits

Dont eat anything processed or any sugar. Stay away from the microwave as well. Ideally you should be eating food that's organically grown.

1-have enough protein......(good sources for protein= eggwhites/chicken breasts/turkey breasts/lean beef/fish/tuna/salmon/cottage cheese/whey protein powder)

2-efas (essential fatty acids) necassary for your body..specially in body building ...for good testosterone levels...(one of the reasons)
read about efas in the link below...(fish oil/flaxoil/olive oil/peanut butter/peanuts/nuts /salmon)...avoid saturated fats..

3-vegetables(all vegetables are required..ex:broccoli,green peas/okra/spinach/..etc.....etc)

4-fruits (......etc)

5-dairy products (skimmed milk/low fat yogurt/cheese)

6-fiber (found in vegetables and some fruits and fibrous carbs)

7-carbs ...mainly avoid sugars and high GI carbs and processed food ....eat:oats/brown rice/whole grain products/fruits&veggies/skimed milkand yogurt..........

8-this is not only necassary for body building ,it's necassary for being healthy ......

now read those stickies to help u calculate your daily needs...
