Suggestions for my Vegas trip?

What up guys? I bought a trip to Vegas for me and my girl and I've never been so I am looking for suggestions of what to do while we're there. We're staying in the planet Hollywood towers so things on the strip would be nice. I plan on spending one night entirely downtown, but the rest of the trip on the strip.

Any favorite restaurants or casinos? Thanks for any suggestions guys.

make sure to check out Freemont Street at least one night, total freakshow. all the fancy restaurants at Paris or the Bellagio are all good, they are the only ones I really eat at on the strip.

try to check out one of the Cirque du Soleil shows, they are incredible...

if you are going to gamble the best chance of winning is with double deck black jack and play late at night when the table isn't full. with electronic gaming/slots they all run on random number generators there is no skill involved at all. making a conscious choice and closing your eyes and selecting a button has the same effect. all you can do to increase your odds of winning is to select a high denom game and select max bet every time. I used to work for the gaming control board that's about all the tips there is with out getting into statistics and some math.

I agree with LAM----> Cirque du Soleil . Anyone you choose you will not be disappointed.

Since you showed an interest in shooting I'll recommend you NOT go to The Gun Store. Yeah, they've got a butt load of toys you can play with but, they charge an arm and two legs for the privilege. You're better off at Discount Firearms or American Shooters. Both are about the same distance from the Strip as The Gun Store.

they are pretty expensive out here like $500 and up. lots of coed from CA come into Vegas on the weekends to hook.
