Might be taking a back seat to heavy lifting as a primary since I am going back to my old love...RUNNING with the occasional long distance bike ride.

Used to be very competitive in high school, put on some weight, went to weight lifting, and now want to get back to running for fun(yea, people really do it for fun).

I competed in this years bay 2 breakers and it was a blast. Nothing like running with a bunch of old naked crazies to get the blood flowing at 7am.

Started logging all my runs(and cycling) and plan to hit a few marathons this year and even more next year. Weight lifting will take a back seat, but will not be forgotten. I personally forgot how fun running was, and even more fun when my kids are involved with it.

Right now I average 5-8 miles per day running(4 days a week). I plan to up the mileage slowly and get back to my high school days(10 years ago).

Ran bay 2 breakers(12K) in 1:07:33 and was quite happy considering Im not where I want to be just yet and was 215lbs. Ive dropped the weight a few lbs in the last few weeks with the increased mileage and vow to finally hit and sustain 195-200 lbs.

Yesterdays run. I usually do a few runs. One by myself and one with the kiddos. Daughter is 10, son is 5. He has more energy than the both of us combined.

Not weight lifting, not body building, but im sure you guys wont mind. Ill do enough running for all of us so no one else has to
