so....i've just got the results of an mri i have a "small left paracentral disc protrusion at t8-t9" any one had a disc herniation here? advice on getting back to full strength? i want to keep on lifting but obviously at the second there are certain lifts that are a no go.

I just had surgery for bulging disc on the 4th. It was pressing on spinal nerves.
Recovery is take things slow and modify lifts to not make the disc bulge more.
Injections of deca seems to help. Take glucosamine also.

thanks, yeah im taking glucosamine, chondroitin and msm, also fish oil and just started taking cissus. i doubt they will operate on mine, i've got no spinal cord compression but it does say "indents the anterior aspect of the cord" so i guess its just touching it. i get no numbness, pins and needles or anything like that, just pain and it causes my left erector spinae to spasm, much worse in the morning, if that would stop id be golden....
