Hey All you meat heads out there. Cheers for taking a look at my post.
I'm a 12.0 stone 5 ft 10 24 year old male. I've been training intermittently for a few years. Mainly keeping myself lean (skinny).
After doing some research I used Scooby's fitness page to calculate how much to eat and when:
Now I'm eating 2900cals a day. 35% protein, 35% carbs and 30% fats. spread over 7 meals. i.e. 100g brown rice, 100g chicken breast, 370g green veggies and 2 tbsp flax seed (420cal).
Each day I ensure I get 1 serving of oily fish and 2 x 2.5g of creatine.
I'm doing 5 days of lifting for approx 45 mins, mon Biceps, tues legs, wed Chest, Thurs Back, Fri shoulders. Each workout has a mix of myofibril and sarcoplasmic hypertrophy
(low reps heavy weights with compound movements then supersets with isolation + slightly lower weight)
Along with a quick morning ab circuit with some punch bag work (20 mins).
Any advice on whether this is going to get me to my goal of putting on 5 kilos without minimal fat over the next 9 months?
All advice however blunt is very much appreciated chaps.
