tenseness of muscle after workout

just wondering if sitting in the hot tub after a workout is bad? cause usually after a good workout my muscles are all tight and tense but pretty much after every work out i go and sit in the hot tub for about... 10mins and i lose the tight and tense feeling of my muscle.
 
So long as you keep well hydrated and don't neglect your post-workout nutrition or stretching, go for it.

That's a good point. I would incorporate a serious stretching program into your daily workouts. I usually have my athletes do a dynamic stretching warm-up prior to a workout followed by post static stretching.
 
so its perfectly fine right? its not going to reduce my gain or anything like that right?

also i was wondering about fatigue, will it make me more tire if i do it too much. i think i heard somewhere if u go to the sauna too much after working out it can cause tiredness. just wondering if it would be the same with a hot tub?
 
You'll sweat a lot working out and you'll sweat a lot in a sauna - just make sure you stay hydrated.
 
Its not tiredness caused by muscular fatigue, its dehydration.
