I have been eating Teriyaki Chicken bowls for quite a while now, and I was just realizing how high in sodium they are. I was wondering everyone's opinion on these as part of a 4-5 meal plan a day. They have 20g of protein, larger ones have more, and I think thats what initially steered me to them. They also contain white rice and some vegetables, broccoli, carrots.

Thanks

Arn't those frozen dinners?

:barf:

I would never suggest any frozen dinner. Sodium and who knows what else are in those things. :shake:

Hmm, we have a resturant chain here called Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Sounds like the stuff he's refering to. I'm assuming that's what he's talking about.

No, I have frozen ones, but I also eat the ones from a sushi Japanese restaraunt.

I think its time to find something a bit healthier ;)

Yeah, like ice cream :hehe:

And I'm sure those chicken bowls are loaded with sugar both in the white rice and the sauce.

So stuff like the weight watchers and lean cuisine frozen dinners are not really healthy for you? Those things are so darn convenient sometimes.

No they are not healthy for you. They are full of sodium and tons of other crap. Home cooked food is WAY better.

Ewwwwwww That was mean Jodi...
I'm sorry you are so serious.
Next time I will say chicken breast instead of ice cream...
Would you like that better?

Actually I was just trying to stimulate a little smile from you, but that's ok. I can see when I am not wanted. :(
