I'm not lifting ___ lbs on the ___ to impress the cute girl over there.
I don't care that my buddy( or training partner) can lift more than I can.
I took ___ and it didn't do anything for me. And its not because my training program and nutrition suck and I overtrain.
My workouts never go longer than one hour. This includes the time it takes me to do a proper warmup, a proper cool down afterwards, put the weights on and off the bar, hook and unhook cables, pick up and return dumbbells from the rack, write my weights in my log, rest between sets, get drinks of water so I keep my body hydrated, go from one station to the next, wait for other people to do their sets while I work in and everything else that can slow a workout down.
I use every plate on the rack during my workouts, not just the 45s.
