The Led Zeppelin front man led a host of Brit talents in the vote by digital radio station Planet.

And the Rolling Stones lead singer came an amazing ninth with Bowie coming in at 11.

Queen???s FREDDIE MERCURY and PAUL RODGERS of Free came second and third and The Who frontman Roger Daltrey came fifth.

Too many vocalists to list.

And how do you, make a list.

Different bands, different voices, different vocal ranges.

That said, let's all sing, sing, sing, awwwaaaaaay!

I'll agree with the majority of this list, but with one caveat! How can Springsteen,Cocker and Ozzy as great as he is, be ahead vocally, of Bono!?!

omfg! that rush guy's singing makes me HATE rush. he sounds like an elf with a unicorn dick stuck up his ass. one of the WORST voices ever.

How is Ian Anderson not on that list. What a crock of shit

I was gonna flip a shit if Robert Plant wasn't first.

Schuylar Croom, He is Legend
David Bunton, The Showdown
Claudio Sanchez, Coheed and Cambria

many others

Awesome band. Great guitarist's also.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Mike Patton is greater than all of them
Jim Morrison should be top 10 if not number 2
Chris Cornell is better than most of the top 20
Where the fuck is John Lennon? come on man what the fuck about Phil Anselmo?

Even Dax Riggs could out sing a large portion of those hacks.....

omfg! that rush guy's singing makes me HATE rush. he sounds like an elf with a unicorn dick stuck up his ass. one of the WORST voices ever.
Him and Axel Rose reminded me of fingernails screeching on a chalkboard but then some people think they have lovely voices....

Glenn Danzig
Peter Steel
Amy Lee
Mike Patton
Chris Cornell
hell, even Eddie Vedder
... IMO, this list blows

:roflmao:

Love Rush!
(But, lee should have been singing into an effect since 1989.)

And... What the Deuce!?...

Where the Hell is Mike Patton?

Jimi Hendrix?

Doug Pinnick?
I love Jimi more than most people think they do but I would never say he was a superb vocal talent, not as far as singing goes for bluesy gruffness yea he's talented vocally, as a lyricist great, in singing Bob Dylans songs well hell that ain't too hard to beat....but no his singing was no out of sight feat....

Bono above Peter Gabriel?

Fuck that.

In terms of talent, Bruce Dickinson should be way higher up, also.

bono's crap!

One woman on the list? That list is racist.

Glenn Danzig
Peter Steel
Amy Lee
Mike Patton
Chris Cornell
hell, even Eddie Vedder

Why Patton isn't up there ill never know. Gotta be one of the most versatile and talented vocalists in the last 20 years.

There isn't one Beatle on their, Elvis is not there. Eric Burdon, Van Morrison and Steve Winwood should have places on there.....New guys like already mentioned Eddie Vedder, Scott Weiland...

As far as Black men go if they included Motown then most of these cats wouldn't stand a chance, dig? Otis Redding and Sam Cooke would lay waste to these guys with one song....
