There is, but I mostly focue on flats fishing Snook, Redfish and sea trout. You never know what you'll catch in the backwater. Boca grande is the Tarpon fishing capitol of the world and a few Tarpon are starting to move in.

occasionally we go for sharks.

I can't wait for grouper season! Black drum, redfish, catfish and whiting are all over Cocoa Beach. Yummy! Shark Steaks are the shit!

Florida is the best place to live... except for our marijuana laws, worst in the country. 25 or more plants = 5 years mandatory minimum sentence.

I go fishing down South Carolina way every year when visiting my sister. I always seem to pull out those red fish. Some people say you can't eat them, other say they are good eating. What do you Florida boys do with red fish?

we eat redfish alot and our trout here in Texas are good too. i mostly target flounder or triple tail. never fished from a kayak.

i fish in a few redfish tournaments each year. i think one is based out of Florida, the HT series, but i have yet to fish that particular one.

Ther is a big Kayak fishing forum based in TX.

Like the redfish if you cut the mudline out. Tripple tail are really good!
