no. she has very little time left. chemo did not help it was so advanced by the time they found it. her lymph system is completely compromised and she has wasting syndrome, the cancer is taking all her bodies nutrients to feed itself. i think she will make it a bit longer than her doctors predict. i gave her cash to be able to go out and eat as much as she wants which she still loves to do so far and her doctors say at this point to have whatever she wants pretty much. she is 5'11" and just over 100 pounds now. her and my dad both have cancer, his is at a much earlier stage, and it's literally raped their resources.

if you smoke, fucking stop. she still smokes a few cigs a day even though she needs oxygen 24/7 and at night she struggles so hard to breathe.

My Mother was the same way before she died.
COPD, cancer, on oxygen, and still smoked.

not sure if the rest of the country knows this but while i was up at my mother's we had record breaking weather. it's back to it's normal blustery march weather now but we had 80 degree weather last week. no lie.

Mid 50's-60 the rest of the week. My nipples are hard right now...

Thank you Uncle Z and everyone else. My mom would say, "Don't bury me yet." She plans to enjoy what time she has left as much as she can. She was sleeping pretty good till she realized she had the oxycontin in the vallium box... and it was funny to see how much she is enjoying eating things her doctors frowned on a few months ago. So far she still has her wits about her and her sense of humor... I don't care if it's global warming or what I just want her to make it long enough to see her flower gardens in bloom again and the weather is helping that along 4 weeks ahead of normal.
