I'm currently cutting right now, and I remember back in high school track I used to run 15-20 40 yd dashes with 30 seconds to rest between each. It kept me in good shape at the time, you guys think this is effective cardio?

It takes about 4-6 seconds to run a 40,
I'd like to see you run a 4 second 40 yd dash.![]()

I can't run 4, but I sure as hell can run between 4 and 6, which is the exact range I posted. I'm pretty sure most reasonably healthy people can run between a 4 and 6, but maybe I'm wrong...
Anyways, why give yourself that much rest? Why not just put the runs on an interval instead? 30 seconds is quite a bit considering you're not even running for 10 seconds.
Ha, considering I haven't run in quite some time, I'm gonna need those 30 seconds early on. Well, I think I'm gonna up it to 100 yard dashes. Would 6-8 100 yard dashes be enough?
