My 0.002
Greets, I have been eating much like the paleo diet for about 1 year now. I have not been scientific about it (I have not started to measured my total fat, car, sugar, salt, and protein intake yet.). I have made this change, and things are a bit easier since all I have to do is eat a vegetables, and meat. I have trained for distance in the past, so the diet was complicated and hard to follow. I like easy and fast. So, as far as ease goes I find paleo easy, to figure out, but sometimes very hard to stick to. I am trying to kick my sugar habit (damn hard). What I can say I think one of the best books I have read on diet is EAT FAT, GET THIN, by Mark Hyman MD. The book has studies and is based on fact, not conjecture. While not paleo it has facts. I am not sure yet which studies to look for when building muscle and strength. If you find studies (facts for books) give me a heads up.
