Time adjustments between meals?

Do you guys adjust / compensate for eating one of your meals late? For example, you eat every 3 hours and at 1PM you usually have a sandwich and at 4PM you have a shake. Let's say something comes up and you don't get to eat your sandwich 'til 2. Do you just take your shake at your usual time at 4 or compensate and wait 3 hours and take it at 5?

Am I just being thinking too much about this? :hmmm:
 
Is your shake just whey? If its just protein and not alot of carbs then go ahead and drink it like normal.
 
So if its just protein it's pretty much OK? Carb based no?
 
You're thinking too much about it. If you really want to be anal, how about a compromise at 4:30?
 
If i can only take my 3:00 at 4 then i wouldnt eat again until about 6:30-7.
 
If its just protein, and few carbs, then drink it at 4. If it has some carbs and stuff, just drink it 4:30 and push the rest of your meals back 30 minutes.
 
lol your thinking about it way too much.... wait. have you thought about what happens if i ttakes you 30 minutes to make and eat a meal? should you wait 30 mins later for the next one too?? but wait if it takes another 30 mins to do that one doesnt tha tmean your an hour behind????

just take it as, its near/hit the time/after the time to eat, so get something to eat

if i wake up late and miss my morning 7 am meal, ill still eat the 7 am meal, and then eat every 2 hours until i get back to the right times... better to not undereat, and still get 6 meals than to eat 3 big ass meals.

if you still dont get it, lets say i wake up at 8, and eat by 9. ill have my second meal by 11 (which should have been at 10), the third meal at 1, which is the time it should have been. and then go back to the 3 hour wait... but if i happen to get to 1 oclock and im uot or something and forgot to bring something with me, and it happens to get to 4 when i should have eaten at 1, eat the meal for 4, 2 hours later instead of 3, at 6 ill have another, then at 8 have my other, then at 10, ill have the last..... hence, still eating 6 times a day, spaced apart the right amount of time.... just take it that if its at or near the time to eat,,, eat.. dont try to hit every meal on the dot lol.
