Is it possible to take too much protien powder for your size. I take 80g's a day and eat a Max's CVGM bar (yum yum).
Maybe i should take more?? Any comments appreciated:)

A common/basic protein intake for a lifter is 1 gram per lb of bodyweight, and depending on your goals, some ppl eat up to 1.5 or 2 grams of protein per lb BW (when they wanna bulk). However, if you're really eating TOO much of it (let's say 3 grams), it'll put in excess pressure to your kidneys (so remember to drink plenty of water!) or simply convert to fat or burn as energy (not 100% sure on this).

So judge on your weight, and eat the protein ratio required. If you're 120 lbs, eat that amount of protein at least.

I never eat more than about 50g protein a meal (except maybe post workout).

There's no point eating a ridiculously large protein meal cause your body won;t use all of it as protein. Some or even most of it will be converted to glucose. Some won;t even be absorbed too.

Depends on many factors. How many days per week are you training...what are your goals...what is your weight...what is your macronutrient ratio...what is your meal timing...

Generally I recommend 1-2 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight each day...usually broken up over 6-8 "feedings," 40-60 grams per feeding.

Thanx guys i'm gonna try the 1gm to lb thing i only been takin 80gs so i'll up to that 4 2 weeks and see what difference it makes i posted a thread in training on fatigue and am hopeing that this will help that as well by giving my muscles something to eat!!
