Why's this in the sports sections? :D

This time it seemed like an accident. Nascar is about bumping, and it happens all the time. Only reason Stewart is catching so much shit is because he recently got in trouble for it. He cant be anywhere near an accident or he will catch shit. I say quit whining!

That's a bunch of crap! It was a very aggressive move. Tony is a jerk and his day is coming. I do not think he will be suspended, but one day, someone will put him in the wall.

What is effing funny as hell to me is that all around Tony Stewart, cars are flying but he never does anything. It is all the media's fault. Speaking of whining.

I personally think he is a scapegoat, and it also doesn't look good because it's the second time recently that he's done it to Kahne. The first time he wrecked him was very intentional, but I'm not sure on this. He's kinda on shakey ground at the moment, with slapping people and walking out of meetings, so every move he makes he'll be criticized.

But I could understand why the pit crew acted the way they did. All the time and effort put into the car and tuning it, then be wrecked for the second time by Tony Stewart. I mean, that car is the pit crews life line, it decides if they'll have a job next year or not. Just a lot of emotions coming out, that car is part of their personal property.

Your right though... Nascar should suspend him from the next 5 races, just to take him out of contention for the season.

OK now after I've seen this and being the resident Tony Stewart fan it is time to defend my driver. Lets start off with Dale Sr. how many altercations did he get into bumping and the sort?? No one ever put him under the microscope and said he needed to be suspended. Jeff Gordon, how many people has he spun or gotten loose to get track position?

Tony is just an easy target cause he isn't up the media's bung hole like Jeff Gordon and others. Tony is out to do a job and that is win. I don't think he should have hit Brian Vickers at Sears Point a couple of weeks ago but he was in contention and Vickers took him out. People say that he should be suspended like Jimmy Spencer was with the altercation with Kurt Busch but that fight was an on going thing back and forth for almost two seasons. Tony is one of the most talented drivers today and wins with anything you put him in. The media needs to lay off him or one day he'll leave Nascar like he almost has before to race at local dirt tracks where he has the most fun.
Oh by the way notice no one ever talks about the things he does off track. Ie the one million dollars he donated to the Victory Junction gang to the Petty family. Did Jeff Gordon do that?? Notice the two drivers that the media likes to put under the microscope Stewart and Kevin Harvick have donated tons of money to that foundation (along with Kenny Schrader and Bobby Labonte). I wonder what it would be like if nascar was this popular 10 years ago and more media influinced how would people look at Dale Sr.??

Dale Sr. was allowed to do what he did, because it FILLED the stands. I highly doubt whats his name.. oh yea Stewart is that popular or has that much influence. :p

Spinning someone is often deserved. If the guy is not getting out of the way of a faster car. I have seen Gordon do it...and others. That's racing.

However, Tony gets involved in some crap every week. He is a punk and it is time for someone to put him in the wall.:)

The one thing I can say about Tony Stewart...At least he's not Rusty Wallace. :D

You think they ever get an incredible urge to turn right?

I can say it's Nascar's fault for not doing something earlier in the year with the other incidents. The crews and drivers see him continuing to get away with it and they feel they have to take care of it themselves. Like pepper said, one day he is going to get put in the wall or his ass kicked.
