I take Ultra VitaMan once a day, drink milk 2 times a day, drink proteins 1-2 times a day, drink tropicana juice 3 times a day, and eat foods with nutients.

Am I giving myself to many vitamins? I heard too much Vitamin C is a bad thing... and same with every other vitamin

# vitamin C are water-soluble vitamins that are not stored in the body and must be replaced each day.
# These vitamins are easily destroyed or washed out during food storage and preparation.
# Citrus fruits are good sources of vitamin C.
# Use of megadoses of vitamins is not recommended

dont think you have to worry about your diet

since vitamin c is water soluable, isn't it impossible to take too much?

youll just piss it out.... A and D are FAT soluable, which can be toxic if taken in extraordinary doses

Actually you can get too much of the water soluble vitamins... sure, it is harder but it occurs.

For example, too much Vit C can cause stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhoea/intestinal disturbances and can help cause kidney stones. If you take really excessive amounts it can also cause iron overload (haemochromatosis) as it increases the intestinal absorption of iron...

The B vitamins are also water soluble, but really high levels of some can also be toxic - for example, Vit B3 can cause liver damage and Vit B6 can cause nerve damage and sensation loss in your feet and hands.

A, D, E and K are all fat soluble.. But the level at which they are toxic is not that "extraordinary" for some... Plus, they also accumulate in the body which means that, although your daily intake might not be extreme, over time it will build up so it can eventually reach a 'critical' level and will cause problems.
