Too much anastrozole?

Hey I am 50 and on TRT 140 mg weekly. I was not taking any AI.

I had blood work done 3 months ago and Estradiol was 42

Doc said no to Anastrozole.

recent blood work E went up to 72

Now doc says 1 MG anastrozole 3 x a week.

I have been doing that but an REALLY cranky! I was hoping to get on an AI and was thinking a proper abount for 140 mg of test C a week would be more like .5 mg 2-3 times a week.

I get blood work in a couple of weeks but I am going to kill someone if I don't get this irratablilty under control.

No sore joints

I was 262 pounds and 35% BF in February 2011 and now am 229 pounds somewhere around 22-23% BF now.

I have been logging my progress on line here if you had any more ??

my friend, you are just being hormonal, its called PMS. lol

j/k... seriously tho, this is what I am told happens to men like us in their 50s....

When you are young, your test is high, your esrogen is low as far as ratio goes.

As you get older, your body starts to make MORE Aromatase as you age. This causes more of your test to drop and your esrogen go higher.

that is why old men have bitch tits or gyno and get fat around the belly and d stuff... its the excessive estrogen that is being converted by the heightened aromatase.

it doesnt matter how much test you are or are not taking, it matters how much aromatase is actually doing the damage in your body. Everyones number and internal setting is different. If Aromatase is the culprit, you take an inhibitor to reduce its effects...

likewise, for instance, I might be taking much more test than u are but I might have to just to be wehre u are at, maybe I have more aromatase acting in my system than you do, only a lab test will give me the right answers, getting one next week.

the bitchiness happens when there is a change in hormonal levels.

you are taking an AI, that means you will probably be at a higher test level and lower estradiol level.... give it a few days, let the change level out to the new numbers and you should be fine.

of course, i have no clue what I am talking about but it sounded good and its what I think is going on

I think I went through the sweet spot and my estrogen bottomed out.

Calling the Doc tomorrow and see what he says.

Also have bloodwork order, I may go get the bloodwork early.

Doc dropped the Anastrazole to 2 mg a week until bloodwork

I still think that is high for my levels of TRT
labs will tell
