I have enough money saved so far in my bank. Been saving since i was 15 years old .. no joke. I am not a big spender and the only thing i pay for is food, gas and other needs such as clothes and so forth. I got another 2-3 years to save some more since i am living with my parents because i finished my 1st year in college so i'll be in great shape once i am on my own.

Lawl, I actually like working the shitholes better than the dance clubs, because the music usually isn't as loud.
BTW, any half way desent bartender has my upmost respect. The way you guys operate under heavy stress and can hear people's orders with the load ass fucking music playing is amazing.
I tried tending a few nights when the bartender didn't show up, and I sucked. I have hearing loss and I can't understand a fucking word people say in bars and clubs.

I don't have to order drinks, I usually have to tell them to stop trying to get me drunk, because the only time I go into the bar now is to find one of my friends so we can go out to dinner, but of course he's gotta stay for one more so then here come the shots and everything else so they can try to lure me back into their sinister little world of late night shenanigans, I'm onto you you hooligans.

Yeah, but that somewhere is usually a barback or bartending school. I know jug says he did it without either, but he is the exception. Bartending is extremely fucking hard because you have to have a steeltrap brain for remembering up to 10 drink orders at one time while processing a drink que(people get pissed when the get skipped and won't tip as much), deal with asshole drunks, deal with stupid bitches that don't know what they want in the first place, music so loud you can't think, so on, and so on.

Like I said before, bartenders have my respect.

fedex pays $9.50 an hour and is very hard. It puts the word manual in manual labor, BUT u could stay there awhile, learn how to drive a lift, and go find other jobs in the same field that pay more. I think fedex do $14 for forklift drivers. Not a lot of money for a grown up with a family, but for a young person with no kids (I HOPE!) you cant beat that.
