I've got a girl friend who works her ass off in the gym and diets pretty damn good too, she's just not able to get hardness in her muscles and get the definition she wants. I really don't have a clue what is best for women lifting wise as well as if there are any "products" she can use.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I can bro. let me get some.
I'm gonna need to talk to yall too pretty soon. I signed up on your board just haven't been active yet. XYZ says youre the best!

x2..does her diet consist of alot of protein? and how exactly does she train?

She takes in a lot of protein, but I think her diet is weak in fats and not enough green veggies. Carbs aren't a huge prob.

I'm gonna start training with her next week. Honestly I don't really know what all she's been doing. I know she lifts and does crossfit now. She wants a little more muscle and to really tighten up. I know what that consists of when talking about me, but I don't know if volume training is the right method for her.

I'll post pics in a minute.

From my personal experience when i push myself as hard as i can when im lifting weights is when i feel and see the most progress. I never really had hard muscles or much definition, but lately my muscles have been harder than ever and i have more definition than i use to. Is she in a caloric deficit?

Prolly caloric deficit. She doesn't eat much. She wants to lift with me but I'm lifting like low rep range and to failure. Is that ok for her to do too? Like i'm 5x6 and 5x8 - flat weight - heavy as hell. Should her rep range be higher or just push the same way?

She's on no supplements at all. I'm on so much gear my butt hurts. she's not opposed to peps and gear but i know nothing about what's "safe" for women.

Again from my own experience, I would suggest she eats a little more since she wants to gain muscle, protein postworkout is important as im sure you know. I would also suggest she count calories and gets an idea of what she gets in everyday. If she never does that type of weight training then i wouldnt do such heavy weight in the beginning. I use to do high rep on mostly everything but since I am more experienced about how my body works I noticed my body reacts well to low rep to failure. Well i wouldnt just push gear on her right away but i would of course suggest anavar for a woman if thats what she wanted to do eventually but there are great peptides that help a lot

Honestly var was the only thing i could think of. One of my buddies suggested deca by itsself. We'll experiment with the training I guess.

Well I have heard of women taking deca and stacking it with var. But I personally wouldnt suggest deca for her since the ester has a long half life. It would stay in her system for way to long if negative sides arose. I think a low dose of var by itself is a good start, if not var then she could try winny, maybe even primo. Yeah just figure out what works for her training wise.

best rep range for muscle growth is 8 to 12 with as heavy as you can go with proper form. If she doesn't eat much, that is a problem. She will need to eat in order to build muscle and then to sustain it as muscle is active

if she is on nothing, i would not be putting her on anything other than over the counter, and more than likely only give her IML products. It makes no sense to have her on other "supps" when she is not eating correctly and hasn't even trained for a long period of time.

x2!

Bingo. So what's a good IML stack for women when we're ready?

i would get some Complete Protein
IronMagLabs Bodybuilding Supplements & Prohormones: Complete Protein Rx

and the below to get started with

she may just not be lean enough ? are you able to post any photos ?

Lean Extreme is a great product also !
IronMagLabs Bodybuilding Supplements & Prohormones: LeanFuel Extreme

the Halo for Her is not even out yet, so starting with using the Complete Protein, Lean Extreme thermo, solid food and some good heavy lifting, that will be a great start !!

Thanks a ton. I told her I'd have to do some research cause I didn't want to turn her in to a man, man! haha:geewhiz:

i think i would put he on push pull legs....lower volume....a lady doesnt need and cant handle as much.....my wife cannot stand training triceps

as for supps....anavar maybe even low dose havoc are perfect cause you can stop as soon as sides show up....test prop the same .....eQ is good but a long ester....wife loved winstrol

Right now I'm on IML Complete Protein, Lean Fuel, Nitro 4 (pre-workout) and waiting on Halo for Her to come in.

She looks good. I bet re-designing her nutrition plan will make a world of difference.

Everything said above. She DOES NOT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS NEED STEROIDS. ESPECIALLY deca. NONONONONONO. Not appropriate at all.

While she is determining to work w/ the Gurus of Paradise or not, so we know what we're talking about, can you post up a meal plan she's on right now, as:

Meal 1: 8 am
4 egg whites + 1 whole egg
1/2 c oats

Meal 2: 11 am
4 oz turkey breast
1 c spinach

etc.

And better, have her load it into a food counts program like FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to get a real understanding of what she is eating & how it breaks out into proprortions & amounts of proteins, fats & carbs.

As noted above, ALWAYS start w/ diet first. Small tweaks produce big results. Steroids are something that should not even come up in the conversation.

And please for anyone reading this - unless you're an extremely advanced national level female bodybuilder, if someone suggests deca for you, RUN FUCKING SCREAMING FOR THE HILLS. THIS IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR SOMEONE "who wants a little muscle", and is the last thing I would recommend for a women, unless she's already well-experienced on the dark side.

Thanks Sassy! I was by no means pushing for her to take steroids. The guy that told me about the deca is unreliable at best. The reason the question even came up for me was she had mentioned what she could take and I had no idea other than var, but I wasn't pushing it on her.

Diet is the starting point. The main reason for the thread was along the lines of training. I do 4x8 and 5x6 heavy weight to failure type workouts and was mainly wondering if those are ok for her too. The gear/supplements got in the middle of the actual intent.

Completely understand - just wanted to cover that for anyone else who happens to be perusing this thread and gets the idea. Deca is among the worst recommendations for women for so many reasons - if you have half a clue and spend two minutes reading the profile, you'll figure it out. What makes sense for guys often makes ZERO sense for women. Deca is particularly tempting because it is cheap, easy to get and guys use it all day long. But its long ester, the sides are dramatic and because it aromatizes, the water retention is miserable. And you can't just stop it and hope it goes away. It has to clear the system completely (Read: deca detection time). Just because you heard about something or you can get it doesn't mean you should use it. And even more so if its a guy giving advice to a woman.

She needs to have a high protein diet. This, coupled with lifting and constant training, would surely let her achieve the desired muscles.
