I love suspension training. I think its vital to building a solid core. The straps I use are called Vegas Pro Straps. They are different from TRX because they are 2 independent straps rather than one strap that splits into 2. To me that is important. Having 2 separate straps makes it more versatile and more natural feeling IMO. Doing dips on the straps is my favorite exercise. There's a lot you can do with them. Like I said, the straps have been a great addition for me.
You don't have the stabilization with straps that you have with barbells, dumbells, n machines. So all of the little stabilizing muscles get stronger and you will notice greater muscle development overall. As your core strength increases you will notice all of your lifts will go up. Obviously size is in direct proportion to your caloric intake. But the strength and muscle development is undeniable.
