I always log my workouts. My log goes back four years and I find it very useful to look it over when I hit a plateau and see what has worked in the past.It is also a good way to track your progress. It does get a little tedious keeping track of everything but it will definetly benefit you.
I use to lift with a buddy but for the past 4 months, I've been lifting alone. He's suppose to start back so I might keep one now that we're not lifting the same weight as each other.
Hulk, I am finding out that keeping a log is helping me. I only train with a partner one day a week(Chest day) so the log does give me someone to compete against. Today I know it got me one more deadlift for a new personal best. I was shot, but made up my mind I would get one more than last week, man I have never worked that hard to straighten up but I did it! 325x5
I've kept a log since I started training. I've got 2 years and 4 months of training documented. It's fun to look back through at what I was doing this time last year or even two years ago.
