Need some help here. I've been training now 4 days a week for about 4 months. I like the results I'm getting but I've have noticed that my upper abs just below my ribcage is sticking out almost like I have a gut. What could be causing this and how do I get rid of it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Are you bulking? At the end of the day I get a big stomach just because it's so full.

I can't picture what you are trying to explain.

He's saying he's getting muscle hypertrophy on his abs, just below the ribcage, which is giving him a 'thicker' appearance.

Tat, it's normal. Do more chest work and when you lose some fat it'll all even out. Also, if you're using an ab machine, stop. Instead, hang by your arms and bring your knees up to your chest.

yeah, like ThreeGigs said, build your chest and lower abs and it will all even out.

Good luck bro!

Thanks for the input guys and yes I have been using a ab machine. I'll do as you have suggested and let you know how it all works out. Thanks again.

Do some lower abs exercise, that will even it out.
