US workers are 14% more productive than the best of the rest

When you take into account what a US worker is paid and all the benifets they get I'm sure they are not even in the top 10 world wide for productivity.

that's what makes it a beautiful country.
I work hard for those benefits, if you like you can join them and work in a sweatshop for pennies a day.

So if the Japanese work so much, where is the money to show for it?

I agree, they work for pennies a day so Americans can live well. If it dosent bother you then enjoy. ;)

Yes that' sit ... that's why they work cheap. All for America. Somewhere in Asia right this second some 12 year old is telling himself to get some rest so he can raise up early and work for pennies a day just for our benefit.

Your grasp of world economics is awe inspiring.

Tell me, what type of sneakers do you wear? Nike's I bet.....
Nike is a criminal company and should be banned by all. I buy all American products when I can, but as you well know it is impossible to find some things. As for sneekers I buy New Balance, only 70% of their sneakers are made in the USA but from what I have read that is about as good as it gets.

about one quarter of New Balance shoes are American-made in US Manufacturing facilities using both U.S. and imported materials

Go around your house and you'll find a bunch of products made manufactured by 11 year old South Americans, Asians....

Like I told Mino, we will get a lot of amusement out of this guy.

For every product you buy Made in America, a kid in a sweatshop gets fired...

If you buy only American then you hurt America. WTF did I just say? Lol ... true story. When all we bought were American cars we had an inflated market share. Our products sucked ass. Right before America started buying jap cars our product was the Pinto ... the Maverick ... the Nova (not the killer ones from the late 60's the shit ones from the mid 70's) and the Cadillac. All of those were throw away cars DESIGNED to be ran for a few years and hauled off to the junk yard. Along came the Datsun, the Toyota, the Honda and our entire economy crashed and burned. Entire towns completely shut down and died ... literally emptied out ... as the factories that manufactured the steel, the rubber, and the parts for American cars folded.

If you support a world economy then we as a nation are required to participate in that economy and our products then sell globally. We now buy Hondas made in America and EU buys Chryslers made in EU.

The trouble is when the consumer just goes to Wal-Mart and buys the cheapest shit they can buy. Then it gets bad. China is an ecological nightmare. Under-regulated agricultural products and a completely corrupt government sell us apple juice with higher levels of pesticides then we would allow here at home. No choice though ... look at every bottle of apple juice and you see "Made from concentrate imported from the following countries: Argentina, Chile, Mexico, CHINA blah blah blah" on each and every fuggin bottle until ... until that is ... you buy the good stuff. The HOME grown stuff.

WTF is my point? We needed to be part of the world economy to get our own GDP in line and marketable ... but we still need to watch out for cheap shit from China like toys with too much lead in the paint and apple juice with too much pesticides. The transition will not be painless ... but it is a must if our country is going to live long and prosper.

So go ahead and buy that NIKE ... odds are we will sell them luxury yachts, computers parts, education, steel, corn and a million other things.

8 years from now that 12 year old kid will be here in the US working at Samsung or IBM anyway.
