How would you cycle in my push ups, pull ups, and crunches?

Bah, it's your turn, how would YOU cycle them in. Think about it logically, come up with a plan and I'll tell you if I agree and why. ;)

Should I hit push ups on chest days in sets and pull ups on back days and chins on bicep days and crunches every other day?

I just thought I should be doing more of these.

Yep, that's the way I'd do it.

As far as doing more, I can't tell you that. You're going to have to listen to your body. Like I said in previous posts, if you're getting stronger, great. But if you find yourself getting weaker, back off. You're doing too much.

I did experience that I was not able to do as many push ups as I was a week ago. I figured it was from not eating enough.

I will be heading to Parris Island, SC in a few months. Anyone here have any suggestions on preparation for basic training? We will only be doing body weight exercises and a good bit of running. Mainly muscle endurance is what I need. I'm also going to take pictures of myself so you can see the hip area body fat I have that I would like to lose before I go.

take only whats on your back nothing else.. no extra cloths nothing the rest will take care of its self..:coffee:

if you waited this long to get in shape well ....

I'm in good enough shape and I just woke up with the idea one day ,and within 4 days I was enlisted. Great decision thus far. I am trying to better prepare myself

Yeah, definitely wear some old clothes you don't mind never seeing again, they lost mine and another kid got his shirt ripped off his body cause it had a marijuana leaf the Indoc DI's will try to scare the shit out of you to weed out the pussies, they'll yell and frighten you and then give you a last chance to back out with no consequences.....I was awake for 36 hours straight after 8 hours of airport time when I got there, felt like a piece of meat being processed in a giant factory shaved, drained, prodded, marinated and cooked....I saw kid's breaking down crying, my own mind started to falter "What am I doing here, is this the right choice, is every day going to be this horrible, I'm standing barefoot in my underwear in a line for 4 hours falling asleep on my toes, guys passing out left and right when does this shit end?"

Yes, I know it is going to be the toughest thing I have done so far with my life, but I know it will pay off in the end. It's three months to decide the rest of my life. I will hang in there.

I went through Army basic and had a similar insomnia situation. I didnt sleep the night prior to shipping and then another 2 days after arriving into orientation. I was a fucking zombie. Just layed there at night listening to people snore. By day 3 i normalized and adapted. What a total nightmare though.

Hopefully I will be half-ass mentally prepared for it.
