I know in order for your veins to be visible u need a low bf %, but does weightlifting make em bigger, or make more come out?

I do believe that weight training, or even cardio for that matter, have the effect of improving vascularity.

It definitely helps to weight train. Since I've started I've noticed more vascularity and I haven't lost any weight (a lot of it has shifted from fat to muscle though, in other words, I lost fat while gaining muscle at the same time, so my net weight remained unchanged).

Yes, I believe that has something to do with increased bloodflow.

It is possible... to my limited knowledge as the others have said, to make the walls of the veins thicker, because they are actually a type of musclar tissue in one of the layers, to what degree I am not aware.

not possible

different type of muscle and you can't train your veins anyway lol

I really believe it's a combination. Less fat + more muscle = more vascularity

Yes, it is a combination. I was just saying that in my particular case I didn't lose any fat in the area and it still had more vascularity.

for what its worth, Im not really ripped right now , but I have noticed that my veins get better looking every year as I get older. Also muscle maturity is a big deal and thats why lots of pros are in their 30 s and 40 s. I wonder if veins can grow? We need a doctor... mine seem to have gotten bigger every year? hmmm,

yea im pretty fat and everytime i work out my veins are popping, but it more ur body fat %

I swear I remember reading something about increased cardiovascular activity increasing the size of your capillary walls, or something along those lines. This fact is very foggy in my memory, so perhaps someone who knows what I'm trying to get at can elaborate? I'll Google around.

Sure. More blood. Like a balloon. I wonder the maximum transfusion possible.
