I was wondering what you guys thought about this?
When weight training, do you prefer slow, steady, controlled movements, or do you prefer to explode the weight, then slowly return it back? For example, you're doing your bench presses. Do you ease the weight up and ease it back down in one steady, controlled speed, or do you push the weight up quickly and slowly lower it? I prefer the "explode" technique because I believe it increases muscle power. What do you think?
